September Briefing for Schools on the Results of the 2020 HKDSE Predicted Level Study
The HKEAA held a briefing session at EDB Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre on 21 September 2020 to provide schools with an overview of the results of the 2020 HKDSE Predicted Level Study. About 280 school representatives joined the event/ participated in the webcast session.

August HKDSE Online Information Seminar
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual parent seminar was held online on 29 August 2020. About 830 parents and members of the public attended to learn more about the arrangement of Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE). Led by Dr So Kwok-sang, Secretary General, the seminar covered a range of topics such as administration of public examinations, marking and grading, various quality control mechanisms and the latest development of the HKDSE. During the Q&A session, participants actively raised questions concerning HKDSE in 2021 and special exam arrangement. Highlights of the Q&As are given below.

January Myth Buster - HKEAA Open Day and HKDSE Information Seminars

The HKEAA held its Open Day and the Information Seminars on the HKDSE Core Subjects on 11 and 18 January 2020 respectively.

During the open day on 11 January, visitors to the Tsuen Wan Assessment Centre were able to tour around the examination scripts scanning centre and the onscreen marking centre. Hands-on demonstrations of various IT systems used during the live examinations were also offered to visitors for better understanding about the management of examinations.

Meanwhile, the information seminars focusing on the assessment requirements of the HKDSE core subjects (Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics and Liberal Studies) attracted hundreds of senior secondary students and their parents. Attendants were able to hear the latest update about the assessment arrangement of these subjects.
